John Troy Group | Live @ Pausa

On August 15th, the John Troy Group lit up Pausa Art House with a packed house, full energy, and that unmistakable Buffalo jazz spirit. From the first downbeat, the room was electric—the band fed off the crowd, and the crowd fed right back, creating a musical loop that only happens in the right space, with the right people, on the right night.

The lineup was a powerhouse:

  • John Troy — Saxophone

  • Tim Clarke — Trumpet

  • Jared Tinkham — Guitar

  • Harry Graser — Keys

  • Jacobo Albela — Drums

Inspired solos, tight interplay, and bold risk-taking defined the evening. Whether swinging hard, stretching harmonically, or dropping into deep modern textures, the ensemble played with intention, creativity, and total command of the moment.

A huge thank-you goes out to Lázara and the entire Pausa team—true champions of live music and curation. Pausa continues to be Buffalo’s premier jazz club, offering a listening environment where musicians can explore, and audiences can truly experience the music.

A night of connection, energy, and artistry—one we won’t forget.
More to come.
